The New Rugby Season is Here!

If you haven't noticed, rugby practice has started officially after school at 3:30. If you have payed your dues, go to the practice field up on the hill behind Cosco.

THESE PRACTICES ARE MANDATORY!!

If you wish to play in any of the games, you MUST attend every practice possible. Practice is everyday after school.

We need maximum attendence, so come

Tanner Vanessen is having morning workouts for anyone who feels that they want to improve their skills and/or conditioning. It is at 6:30 in the little Gym and indoor track on Mondays, Wendsdays, and Fridays.

We would like as many people to come to these as possible to keep Tanner company.

RUGBY STARTS MARCH 20th!

If you couldn't make it to the manditory meeting on Wendsday Nov. 8, than you missed some important information from Coach Lusk.

First of all, this years dues for the upcoming season is only going to be half that of last years fee. Only $75.00 for this year. Checks are to be made out to Grandville High School.

Don't forget that after January 5th, there are no refunds, so make sure your commited to this upcoming season. After this date, the money is already spent on USA rugby dues, MYRA team dues, CIPP dues, and USA team dues.

This year, players will not be given a jersey, but you can purchase one if you wish. For first year players, it is mandatory for you to purchase shorts, socks, and a mouth guard.

This season begins in January and continues to May. Practice times will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays before school from 6:15 am to 7:30 am in the small gym. Occasionally, practice will be around 8 or 9 pm at Soccerzone for players that cannot make the morning practices

Games this year will be played on Wendsdays and Saturdays like they were last year. The games will be up the hill behind Cosco were the soccer practices are.

After a game on the road, the home team throws a party and feeds us. We will do the same thing for them when we are at home. Parent help would be greatly appreciated.
